Jom makan pisang
“ Honey, you take the left, i take the right”
Red-throated Sunbird ( Anthreptes rhodolaema )
This Red-throated Sunbirds usually be seen along the forest edge, flitting about in the canopy and feeding amongst the flowers of some forest trees. Rarely does it being seen feeds in low flowering shrubs and therefore does not compete with other Nectarines frequenting the ground storey of the forest. But in this case, the species can’t overcome the temptation to get to the lower ground to feed on the ripening banana. The prettier bird on the right is the male and the female on the left.

Thanx for visiting .......... add saya di facebook http://www.facebook.com/drzulkifli

Big genghis Khan statue in Genghis Khan park in the middle of Hailar, capital city of Hulunbuir.

I was surprised to find that this vast stretch of green prairie that full of grass is actually a home to more than 400 species of wildlife.

People in this area are great riders. Horses are use everyday as mode of transport

Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia

I am in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia.
Going on assignment to a vast and well preserved grassland in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia China. The area is named after two lakes: Hulun lake & Buir Lake. This grassland has the best grass quality in the world, and is one of the top three grasslands in the world. It is also the best preserved grassland in China. This area is famous for the birthplace of the Mongolian conqueror Genghis Khan and the home of Sanhe horses and Sanhe cattle.
China is one of the richest countries in grassland resources with 320 million hectares of grassland, ranked no 3 after Australia and Russia. The grasslands in China are all temperate grasslands and they said the best is Hulunbuir Grassland.
This is my story .............. next change

Bukit Larut ..... part 2

serangga malam
makro kupu kupu
seram gak
View all 18 photos...
Bukit Larut has arich and varied avifauna due to its wide altitude range from lowland mixed dipterocarp forest at foothills, through lower montane forest at 900m, finally reaching upper montane peak of Gunung Hijau (1445m).
Very rewarding birding can be achieved almost anywhere along the roadside. From the Hill Station Office where the jeep stop , take a walk up to the Telecom hill station .... a lot of flora and fauna around.

Chimney ....... byk bangunan lama kolonial di sini
View all 17 photos...

Bukit Larut, set admist the Bukit Larut Forest Reserved, was established in 1884 by the British and is the first and least developed hill station in Malaysia. This forest reserved, gazetted in 1960, covers around 6880 ha lies within the Bintang Range of granite mountains. The original colonial bungalows are still there, transformed into guest house for rent. This is the wettest spot in Semenanjung, particularly during the north-east monsoon, which is usually between November to Disember.

The climate is pleasantly cool but the hill is prone to rapidly enveloping mist, which block out the beautiful view across Taiping to Kuala Sepetang and the Matang Forest Reserved. We are very lucky that afternoon because there is no mist around.

This is a perfect place for birdwatching .......... next change
